A poem of time in nature, through the lens of magical realism, where nature isn’t just a setting, but becomes a character, with its own agency and magical qualities. The boundaries between the human and natural realms often blur, creating a sense of interconnectedness and harmony.

Working from a prompt, I’ve written this poem in response to the ugliness of ALS.

The ramage is probably one of my favorite poetic forms, and this one looks at the simply pleasures of that midnight dip into the kitchen.
